Lee Raftery has been promoted to run NBCUniversal’s UK and emerging market channels, and also has been named chief marketing and content officer across the international division. His official title is managing director, UK and emerging markets and chief marketing and content officer.

Raftery was promoted to chief marketing officer of the division in late 2016. Based in London, he reports jointly to Satpal Branch, managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at NBCU International Distribution and Networks, and to Kevin MacLellan, chairman, NBCUniversal Global Distribution and International.

International channels under his purview include Universal, Syfy, E! Entertainment Television, Movies 24, Telemundo, Studio Universal and 13th Street.

Raftery, who is a member of the PromaxBDA board of directors, succeeds Colin McLeod, who departed the company earlier this year.
