The series was initially produced by and for the BBC. When Nat Geo decided to bring it across the pond for American audiences—it is called American High School after all—the network licensed an as-yet unreleased musical track to capture the series’ cutting-edge feel and youthful energy while backing it all up with a “badass edit.”
