The finalists for PromaxBDA’s 2014 Europe Awards, which showcase the best in European media marketing, include such companies as Canal+, Danish Broadcasting Corp., Creative Services Comedy South, Agency Cube and Discovery Communications among many others.
Winners will be announced at the end of PromaxBDA’s two-day European conference taking place March 24 and 25 at London¹s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel. The gala awards ceremony will be hosted by British comedian Jeff Leach.
“Each year our award nominees continue to push the boundaries in this ever-changing industry,” said Jill Lindeman, PromaxBDA’s general manager, in a statement, “and this year¹s nominated work is no exception. We look forward to seeing the best and the brightest shine at this year’s awards ceremony in London.”
Award winners are chosen by a select jury of esteemed entertainment industry professionals. Europe Award Committee Co-Chairs — Michel Nougue, M6 Group’s head of creative services and Justin Bairamian, BBC’s director of creative marketing — led a jury that included Marco Giusti, NBCUniversal International Television’s VP of creative international; Joanna Sheppard, BBC Worldwide’s head of creative, and Peter Mihola, SPT Networks’ head of art and creative for AXN Central Europe, among others.
